Dual Registered Children's Home Manager
We are seeking a Dual Registered Children's Home Manager to over see a children's residential home that supports young people aged from 9 up to 18 years with complex emotional, behavioural, developmental and mental health issues. Ensuring high standards of care and effective leadership.
This role also involves overseeing the opening of a new children's home, which once opened you will be the manager of both.
This is a unique opportunity to be involved in the opening of a brand new home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dual registered home manager, with previous Ofsted experience.
- Manage and lead the children's home in line with relevant policies and statutory regulations.
- Oversee safeguarding measures, ensure all care plans and risk assessments are in place and regularly updated.
- Ensure compliance is maintained with the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, Children Act 1989, and related legislation.
- Ensure health and safety is maintained at all times.
- Manage budgets and financial procedures.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in leadership and management.
- Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Previous Ofsted experience and would need to provide previous Ofsted reports.
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years management experience.
- Strong knowledge of children's residential care legislation.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
